Richard H Harris, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Richard has always believed technology can help solve the world's problems. He is a natural entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and transforming game changing technology companies, such as Authenticon, Swivel Secure, Mobix, SAVortex, Clearswift and Tumbleweed. His tenure at Ensygnia has seen numerous patents granted, the Onescan Platform launched in 2014 - winning Best Software Solution at the Mobile Industry Awards, achieving PCI Level 1 Certification and winning an Horizon 2020 Phase 2 grant for innovation as well as recently closing a "Series A Bridge" funding round that included Gate Ventures, SixThirty and Jesus College Cambridge.
Matt P Deacon, Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Matt brings over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry delivering mission critical enterprise solutions on both Microsoft and Java platforms, including 6 years as Chief Architectural Advisor for Emerging Technology at Microsoft UK. As founder and chair of the UK region of the International Association of Software Architects (IASA), he leads an active and informed community of IT professionals and is committed to improving quality and bringing professional certification in the UK and Europe.
Amanda Mesler, Non-Executive Director
A savvy business and commercial executive with significant P&L responsibility, Amanda has 26 years of extensive international leadership and general management experience at CEO and board level. She has a demonstrable track record of success leading transformations, building start-ups within global businesses, and rapidly growing businesses in several industries. Amanda has held leadership positions across all major business areas, such as CEO, Operations, Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Consulting, Supply Chain and Business Units.
Richard Carter, Non-Executive Director
In 2002, Richard Carter graduated from Hertfordshire University with a BA (Hons) in Accountancy and began working as an Assistant Accountant for Mouchel Parkman Group plc, a London Stock Exchange listed engineering and government infrastructure provider, whilst studying towards his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants qualification. Richard has held significant roles at Time Inc. UK Limited), AIM quoted Avanti Communications Group Plc and left to set up Gate Ventures with the other board members in 2014. Richard also sits on the Board of Infinity House Productions, PlayJam and Xinex.
Andrew Nash, Non-Executive Director
Andrew is consulting in all aspects of Identity; Enterprise, Consumer and Social. Previously he worked on social network based identity information verification at Trulioo and managed identity at Google and the identity services, security architecture and operations groups at PayPal. He is Technical Advisor to HotPlate, Apani and Provilla (acquired by Trend Micro) and is formerly the CTO for Sonoa Systems and Reactivity (acquired by Cisco).
Richard Gillingham, VP Engineering
Richard is responsible for the architecture and development process for the delivery of the full Ensygnia suite of products and services. He is actively driving the engineering of the Onescan process in order to achieve the full vision of payment services everywhere and anytime. To achieve this vision, he is using his 20 plus years of experience and building a team of engineers to deliver the software assets required to realise the full value of the patent and associated technology.
Chris Tate, Sales Director (UK)
Chris brings many years of experience in mobile payments to Ensygnia, having done pioneering work with Powa Techologies and Zapper. Prior to working in mobile payments Chris sold SaaS ticket resale solutions to some of the biggest event organisers in the UK. Chris has also held senior positions at Chelsea Football Club where he was responsible for setting up their global digital content distribution network and at Mirror Groups Television Channel, Live TV.
Kevin Taylor, VP Communications
Kevin is a highly experienced PR consultant with an impressive track record of success. Skilled in company positioning and messaging he is an accomplished writer and widely respected commentator on PR issues. Well connected, with wireless technology and telecommunications a particular area of specialisation, Kevin is a valued member of the sales and marketing team.
Neil Kernon, VP Legal
Neil is an experienced and pragmatic lawyer with hands-on industrial experience prior to becoming a solicitor. He is responsible for providing day-to-day legal guidance on commercial matters affecting Ensygnia. He also heads his own innovative legal practice which maximises the use of technology to improve accessibility and service standards.
